Contemporary Service Sunday 11:00 a.m. OnCenter - Meiley-Swallow Hall Outreach Services Community UMC offers a service of worship and fellowship for the homebound on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the church Parlor; and a worship service for persons with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. All are welcome at these services. Holy Communion The United Methodist Church practices open communion. All are welcome to share in the sacrament. At Community UMC, communion is served by intinction. After receiving the bread, dip the bread into the cup, which contains grape juice not wine. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of the month. At the Saturday service, it is offered the day before the first Sunday of the month. |
