Missions at Community UMC
Mission activities at Community Methodist Church in Naperville are guided by four general goals:
- To make disciples of Jesus Christ
- To strengthen, develop, and renew Christian congregations and communities.
- To alleviate human suffering.
- To see justice, freedom, and peace.
The active support of Missions work is an inviting witness to Christ in the world today. Jesus said "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" and "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:30).
Missions support is an integral part of the Community United Methodist Church identity and focus. CUMC continues to increase its mission engagement through financial support and volunteers. Would you like to learn more about our mission trips? Are you interested in a mission experience?
