Mission Project Calendar

This is the current calendar of upcoming Community UMC Mission projects. Each project is a hands-on opportunity to build relationships and make a difference. As disciples of Jesus and members of CUMC we understand that participating in missions is a core value of our faith. Your mission team has put together this list to enable you to plan your life around mission. On October 24, a mission fair will be held at CUMC to assist you in discerning where God is calling you to get involved.

Spring 2011

May 21: 4:30-6:30 shift at Feed My Starving Children. Meet at the FMSC site, 555 Exchange Court at 4:15 p.m. You must be 8 or older, and there are 30 spaces available. Contact: Church office

June 11: Trip to our sister church, Trinity UMC in Joliet, to continue renovation of their childcare area. Meet at Trinity UMC, 301 Fairbanks at 9:00 a.m. Contact: Carol Pfeiffer

Summer 2011

August: Adult and college trip to Honduras. Contact: Church office.
