Christian education is a life-long journey. United Methodism is historically rooted in adult study and education, and those traditions are alive and well at Community UMC. With five active adult Sunday School classes and a variety of special offerings, Community UMC has something for everyone. All the adult Sunday School classes are open, welcoming to visitors, and meet at 9:45 am from September through May. Why not try one?

Here’s a list of our current adult classes:

  • Fidelis – meets in Room 308
  • Kairos – meets in Room 102.  Kairos is an adult Sunday school class. We were founded in 1993 and our class is mostly self-led, with a variety of different leaders. We meet in Room 102  and have social events throughout the year. The class organizers this year are Ken Cox and Graham Wills.
  • Open Circle – meets in Room 307.  Click here for more information.
  • Sojourners Forum – meets in Fellowship Hall.  The Sojourners adult Sunday School class meets in Fellowship Hall. We welcome all for lively discussion on a variety of topics.
  • Son/Light – meets in Room 101.  A small covenant fellowship, for adults with developmental disabilities.
